LE SSERAFIM's Sakura showed tears under pressure.
On July 29 KST, HYBE's official YouTube channel released LE SSERAFIM's documentary.
After wrapping up promotions for their first full album, "UNFORGIVEN," Sakura shed tears due to the burden and pressure she felt. She cried for a long time, saying, "I'm scared to speak out in front of people."
Sakura expressed, "I don't know why I chose to be an idol. Was it necessary? It's not that choosing to be an idol was a wrong decision, but I wonder if being an idol was really the best job for me. Sometimes when I make mistakes or feel my limitations, I think that others who are good at this could do it instead of me."
She continued, "No matter what people say, the thing that makes me feel most excited and happy is this job. I realized that doubting myself and thinking about giving up might not be because I'm doing it wrong or lacking talent. I didn't originally have such thoughts, but hearing so many things sometimes makes me think that way. Why am I pushing myself to the point of crying and struggling? I don't even know why I want to do this."
However, Sakura returned to the practice room. Resolving her feelings, Sakura stated, "I want to have a big dream that no one thinks is possible. Even if working hard doesn't achieve that dream, just having such a dream and working hard toward it would be a treasure and a happy time."
