Coupang Play's new original Korean series, Influenza, starring BLACKPINK's JISOO, recently wrapped filming and is preparing for its long-awaited premiere.
The news has been confirmed by the series' own staff through a statement, delighting many fans around the world who are eagerly waiting for the release date.

Co-written by Han Ji Won ('Parasite') and Ji Ho Jin, 'Influenza' tells the story of a soldier and his girlfriend, who break up immediately before the world is overtaken by a zombie apocalypse. The drama's story is be based off of a novel by Han Sang Woon.
Park Jung Min has been offered the role of Jae Yoon, a young man who enlisted for his mandatory military service at the late age of 26 after several attempts to avoid the draft. He's a worrywart who's uncertain about his future and his relationship, and so he decides to break up with his girlfriend to lessen his worries. Meanwhile, the outside world is overrun by zombies.
Jisoo has been offered the role of Jae Yoon's girlfriend Young Joo, who has her hands full with an unreliable, unconfident boyfriend. At his request to break up, Young Joo sets out to fight through the hoards of zombies and see her boyfriend
