TWICE's Nayeon has made history by becoming the only K-pop female solo artist to have two consecutive albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.
According to an official article published by Billboard, Nayeon's second mini-album, 'NA,' released on June 14, secured the 7th position on the Billboard 200 chart. This achievement ties her record set with her first mini-album, 'IM NAYEON,' released in July 2022, which also reached the highest rank for a K-pop female solo artist on this chart.
'NA' recorded 43,000 album sales and 4,000 SEA units (streaming equivalent albums), totaling 47,000 units. It was also the best-selling album in the U.S. that week, topping the 'Top Album Sales' chart. Following TWICE's February mini-album 'With YOU-th' reaching number one on the Billboard 200, Nayeon has reaffirmed her popularity and set a new milestone in K-pop history with her solo release.
The mini-album and its title track "ABCD" also performed well on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'NA' ranked in the top 10 of the 'Top Album Debut Global Chart,' 'Top Album Debut USA Chart,' and 'Top Album Debut UK Chart' from June 14 to 16. "ABCD" entered the 'Top Songs Debut Global Chart' at number 5.
