Last month, reports revealed that the infamous YouTuber Sojang had been prosecuted without detention on charges of defamation and slander against Jang Won Young. In a civil lawsuit, Sojang was ordered to pay 100 million KRW (73,125.07 USD) in compensation.

The latest developments revealed that Sojang is also being sued by additional victims other than Jang Won Young, including Kang Daniel.

Recently, the summary of the charges filed against Cyber Wrecker Sojang by 8 victims has been revealed online.

The lawsuit summary reveals:

"The Incheon District Prosecutor's Office, Criminal Division 1, has prosecuted a YouTuber known as "Cyber Wrecker" on charges of violating the Telecommunications Network Act (defamation) for producing malicious slander videos targeting celebrities, influencers, and others, and posting them on their YouTube channel, thereby earning billions (KRW) in revenue from paid members, etc.

'Cyber Wrecker': A YouTube channel that quickly gains revenue by uploading content that capitalizes on controversial issues in cyberspace.

The prosecution revealed evidence that the defendant had continued their 'Cyber Wrecker' activities professionally, citing the fact that they had actively conducted additional investigations into the case, including tracking revenue from the YouTube channel, conducting searches of the defendant's residence, and forensic analysis of the laptop used for video editing, in response to individual defamation cases filed by victims of one-time insults.

As a result, it was discovered that there were numerous additional victims, and the defendant had earned 250 million KRW (183,083 USD) by indiscriminately posting false or distorted videos. The prosecution established that this case was a 'profit-driven crime through the dissemination of fake news' and dealt with it severely.

Moving forward, the prosecution will rigorously address the 'Cyber Wrecker' crime, which profits at the expense of victims of fake news, and will strive to ensure that the defendant receives appropriate punishment through the prosecution process."

The summary also revealed each false claim made by Sojang about the eight victims.

Victim B - Falsifed and posted videos alleging the artist manipulated album sales despite the absence of such facts. [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation), Obstruction of Business].

Victim C - Falsifed and posted videos alleging an artist's involvement in prostitution in the Philippines despite the absence of such facts. [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation)].

Victim D - Falsifed, produced, and posted videos alleging an artist underwent plastic surgery despite the absence of such facts, among others. [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation), Insult].

Victim E - Falsifed and posted videos alleging an artist underwent liposuction despite the absence of such facts, among others. [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation), Insult].

Victim F - Falsified and posted videos alleging that an artist got lyposuction despite the absence of such facts [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation), Insult].

Victim G - Falsified and posted videos alleging an artist took a hiatus due to engaging in a relationship even though the artist took a break due to health reasons, among others. [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation), Insult].

Victim H - Produced and posted derogatory videos alleging that an artist's face is fake (due to plastic surgery), among others. [Slander].

Victim I - Falsified and posted videos alleging an artist stole a stylist's shoes after borrowing them, despite the absence of such facts. [Violation of the Telecommunications Network Act (Defamation)].
