Boy group BTS has once again claimed the top spot in singer brand value rankings for the month of June.
From May 22 through June 22, the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute analyzed big data of currently promoting singers in areas including consumer participation, communication, media activity, and community activity, to determine the brand value of each singer. Represented numerically, brand value indicates measures such as which brands are the most talked about, where these brands see the most activity, and why.
In June, BTS beat out trot singer Lim Young Woong to claim the top spot with a total of 9,048,607 brand points. Lim Young Woong followed closely behind in second place with 8,287,506 points, seeing an increase in brand activity from last month despite ranking down. 3rd place went to Seventeen with 5,150,273 points, while IVE took up 4th place with 4,560,096 points total.
Here are the top 30 singers in terms of brand value rankings for the month of June: BTS, Lim Young Woong, Seventeen, IVE, aespa, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, LE SSERAFIM, IU, Young Tak, Lee Chan Won, Na Hoon Ah, BLACKPINK, DAY6, QWER, BIBI, Psy, Jang Yoon Jung, J.Y. I already expected BTS to top, its June after all. Lim Young Woong is doing quite well too, I must say.
