NewJeans has just dropped the pre-release single 'Right Now' from their upcoming Japanese debut single 'Supernatural.' The music video features a unique animated concept as part of a collaboration with Tatashi Murakami. I wish the song was 20 seconds longer. It's fast-paced, and I'm curious too see it performed live. Honestly, it puts the pressure on Supernatural. It's not a bad song, I do like it, but it's not up there with most of their tracks. It's definitely a B-side, which considering there's only 2 tracks on the single album it is disappointing. I'm also curious as to how it'll be received in Japan. It's mostly in English, and it's so fast with soft voices, you could hardly hear when they're speaking Japanese. It needed a stronger hook/chorus.
