On June 26, B.D.U held a showcase in Shinchon, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their first mini-album 'Wishpool' and mark their official debut.
B.D.U is a project group formed through Mnet's audition program 'Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival', where they clinched the final victory as the team 'Hunminjebit'.
Excluding Kim Minseo, members Seunghoon (CIX), Jay Chang (ONE PACT), and Bitsaeon (M.O.N.T) are already active in their respective groups. Having won 'Build Up,' these members will promote as a vocal group for two years while continuing activities with their original teams.
Bit Saeon shared, "For Kim Minseo, it's his first debut, while the three of us are re-debuting. We are grateful for this rare opportunity to show new sides of ourselves with a different team. We're working hard to present a more developed version of ourselves on stage."
Seunghoon added, "We have a strong desire to be together as a group. During our time together, we want to share the music we love with our fans." Jay Chang said, "I'm thrilled to debut as B.D.U and showcase our vocal talents. Please look forward to our music and give us your support."
Kim Minseo expressed, "This is a precious opportunity for me. I'm very happy to perform alongside my favorite hyungs and hope to show my growth and best self."
The members also spoke about their mindset for the two-year project group. Seunghoon mentioned, "We've discussed this as a group, and if our hearts and musical goals align, you never know what might happen. We work well together and hope to stay together for a long time."
B.D.U's title track "My One" blends B.D.U's sweet vocals with refreshing yet wistful lyrics, resulting in a beautiful harmony. All members contributed to the chorus, adding to the song's high quality.
B.D.U's debut album 'Wishpool' was released on various music sites at 6 PM on the same day.
