In the latest episode of MBN's 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show' aired on June 4 KST, Big Bang's Daesung shared a poignant childhood memory of unrequited love.

During a singing competition themed around 'hidden love songs' between Korea and Japan, the MC probed Daesung about his first crush. Reflecting back, Daesung revealed, "During elementary school, I had a crush on a girl from first to fourth grade."

Expressing his longing, Daesung recounted, "I really wanted to confess my feelings to her." However, circumstances changed as he faced transferring schools. Daesung admitted, "I thought about leaving after at least expressing my feelings, even though I knew it wouldn't work out."

Summoning courage, Daesung confessed his feelings to his crush before transferring schools, saying, "I like you." Yet, the overwhelming embarrassment prevented him from hearing her response, and he simply moved to his new school.
