Belift Lab recently released a video titled 'Belift Lab's Position on Plagiarism Allegations' to address claims that their group, ILLIT, had copied concepts from the popular girl group NewJeans. The video was intended to refute these accusations and clear the company's name.

However, the video has been met with widespread criticism and currently has a nearly 90% dislike rate from netizens. Viewers have expressed their dissatisfaction, stating that the video failed to provide concrete facts and rebuttals. Instead of offering substantial evidence to defend ILLIT, the video focused on accusing other idol groups of copying NewJeans as well.

Unhappy with the video's content, many netizens and K-pop fans expressed their displeasure by clicking the dislike button. Within just 12 hours of its release, the video garnered 63,805 dislikes, accounting for 89% of the total reactions, while only receiving 7,630 likes.
