Alongside the single, Zico launched the 'SPOT!' dance challenge, intensifying excitement for his comeback. Staying true to his reputation as the 'challenge originator,' Zico introduced an easy-to-follow and captivating choreography for the dance challenge.

The dance challenge videos have also garnered significant attention alongside the popularity of the new song. Starting with the dance challenge with BLACKPINK's Jennie, who was featured on the track, Zico engaged in challenges with various artists including Kiss of Life, ILLIT, Seventeen's Woozi, LE SSERAFIM, Jeon So Mi, and more.

However, amid the online frenzy surrounding the dance challenge, there's a noticeable undercurrent of discontent, particularly from those critical of HYBE's handling of girl groups.

HYBE is currently grappling with an internal discord between ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin as the company accused the CEO of a hostile takeover of ADOR. Since the label has been at the center of attention many underlying issues within the company have been exposed through the latest controversy.

Due to the ongoing feud and accusations, Zico has received mixed opinions from online users. Some criticized, "Zico needs to read the room," "I think it's good that he's showing off his connections with HYBE artists but he needs to read the room first," "I hope he does a challenge with NewJeans," and "Why did he need to upload at a time like this?"

On the other hand, netizens who showed support for Zico commented, "I don't think it's wrong that he is filming dance challenges with the girl group that he's friends with," "HYBE probably told him to upload them," "He didn't even do anything that bad, why does he need to read the room?" and "I don't think he did anything wrong."
