For the first time, a project group created from an Mnet survival program has successfully renewed their contract.
On May 30 KST, Wake One Entertainment confirmed that 7 out of 9 Kep1er members have agreed to renew their contracts for Kep1er's continued promotions. Members Mashiro and Kang Yeseo, on the other hand, will wrap up their activities with Kep1er in July, returning to their agency, 143 Entertainment.
Kep1er's final activities as a 9-member group will end with the release of their 1st full album, 'Kep1going On', and their scheduled solo concert in Japan in July.
Afterward, fans can look forward to Kep1er's return as a 7-member group with a lineup conssiting of Choi Yujin, Xiaoting, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, and Seo Youngeun.

😭funny thing is that the least successful group out of Mnet got to extend the contract. I guess BIScuit ent, Avex, IST, Jellyfish and the other companies have no plan to debut a new girl group within this year hence why they aren't taking their individual artist back
