Trot singer Kim Ho Joong, currently under police investigation for his alleged involvement in a car accident and subsequent attempt to flee the scene, has declared his intention to uphold his scheduled performances.
On May 14 KST, Think Entertainment, Kim's agency, issued a statement via the official fan cafe acknowledging the recent traffic incident involving a taxi on the evening of May 9. They expressed regret and a sense of responsibility for the lack of immediate follow-up after the accident, pledging to prioritize the protection of their artist. "We are committed to safeguarding our artist at all costs," the statement affirmed.
The agency further confirmed that they intend to proceed as planned with the 'Tvarotti Classic Arena Tour 2024' in Changwon and Gimcheon, as well as the World Union Orchestra Super Classic, without alterations to the schedule. They expressed gratitude to fans for their steadfast support and vowed to maintain a protective barrier around the artist.
Meanwhile, Kim Ho Joong finds himself under police scrutiny for allegedly fleeing the scene after colliding with a taxi while changing lanes in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, around 11:40 PM on May 9. However, following police interrogation, Kim reportedly admitted to being behind the wheel.
Despite the ongoing investigation, Kim Ho Joong proceeded with the 'Tvarotti Classic Arena Tour 2024'.
