On the heels of the announcement that YOUNITE and CRAVITY are in discussion to compete in 'Road to Kingdom 2', excitement is brewing as TEMPEST and ATBO also gear up to showcase their talents on Mnet's highly anticipated survival program. According to reports from multiple broadcasting officials on May 1 KST, both groups have confirmed their participation and are diving into preparations for the fierce competition ahead.
‘Road to Kingdom’ first captured audiences' hearts with its survival concept in 2020, spotlighting promising boy groups striving for recognition in the industry. The inaugural season featured powerhouse acts like Pentagon, ONF, Golden Child, and The Boyz, with the latter clinching victory. Now, after a hiatus, 'Road to Kingdom' is gearing up for a thrilling comeback in 2024.
TEMPEST, riding high on the success of their fifth mini-album 'Lighthouse', released last March has been making waves globally. Their chart-topping achievements on iTunes in Vietnam, Turkey, and the US underscore their burgeoning popularity. Notably, TEMPEST members no strangers to Mnet survival shows, having previously appeared on 'Produce 101' season 2. Additionally, Hanbin is set to make his second appearance on an Mnet survival show following his stint on 'I-Land'.
On the other hand, ATBO, another rising star in the K-pop scene, is poised to make a splash on 'Road to Kingdom 2'. ATBO is ready to showcase their talent on the global stage. Debuting in July 2022, ATBO has been making waves with their captivating tracks. Their rendition of the national winter song "Must Have" garnered widespread acclaim, further solidifying their status as a 'next-generation global idol' rookie.
As anticipation mounts for 'Road to Kingdom 2', all eyes are on both groups as they prepare to bring unique strengths and talents to the table. Fans are eagerly awaiting the epic showdown that awaits in the second half of the year.

I guess thats the full lineup?? Theres already like 7 groups announced. Surprised with ATBO though since they were already on peak time and idk considering they are TBZ junior group, the pressure and expectation on them must be high. With the current lineup, probably Xikers or Cravity is winning this show.
