Netizens are abuzz with discussions about the possibility of Min Hee Jin returning to SM Entertainment.
On an online forum, fans are speculating whether SM Entertainment might "welcome back" Min Hee Jin as an employee. Amid the ongoing legal battle against HYBE, Min Hee Jin has faced scrutiny due to KakaoTalk logs allegedly revealing that she held meetings with representatives from Dunamu and Naver Corporation for potential investment offers to "scoop up" ADOR.
While more details have yet to surface, netizens are wondering if other companies could be potential new homes for Min Hee Jin and NewJeans, with SM Entertainment being a prominent contender. Before joining HYBE, Min Hee Jin worked as SM Entertainment's Creative Director from 2002 to 2019 and was promoted to the board in 2017.
Netizens shared their thoughts on this hypothetical scenario, with many doubting the likelihood of a harmonious reunion between Min Hee Jin and SM Entertainment.
Reactions include:
"She can't go back..."
"Why would Min Hee Jin go back? Lol, Lee Seong Soo basically cussed her out lol"
"But why would SM also want her back lol"
"It would be a minus for both of them"
"SM doesn't have labels so I don't think Min Hee Jin would go back"
"I don't think they would understand each other"
"Chances are low that she would go back, and I don't see SM accepting her either"
"Honestly, I think going to SM would be the best way for her to get back at Bang Si Hyuk but I think the chance of this happening is 0"
"Why would she go back to SM lol NewJeans as a single group would make her more money than being at SM"
"Lee Soo Man isn't even there anymore so changes are low lol"
"Lol, why are you framing it as if SM is the one with power and that they will not accept her...I bet she doesn't even want to go back"
"I have a feeling that she will just found her own company"

impossible for several reasons (unless Hybe wants it done that way):
- Hybe still owns 80% of Ador so no one can sell NJ except them without lengthy and expensive legal procedure carving NJ out of Ador after settlement with Hybe if course. So, no unless Hybe wants it
- Hybe is still second biggest shareholder of SME (after Kakao), they can block it.
- MHJ non-compete clause
