On the afternoon of May 14, actor Kang Dong-won appeared on MBC Radio FM4U's "Jung Oh's Hope Song, Kim Shin-young is Here" (known as "Jung Hee"). During the broadcast, DJ Kim Shin-young mentioned that Taeyeon, during her appearance on the show, Taeyeon had revealed her admiration for Kang Dong-won by choosing "being invited to Kang Dong-won's house" over "inviting Kang Dong-won to her house."

In response, Kang Dong-won humorously remarked, "Well, someday I'll host an invitation," and added, "But I also prefer being invited." DJ Kim Shin-young light-heartedly commented, "I will support until the day Taeyeon sits at the 10-person dining table made by Kang Dong-won himself," drawing laughter from the listeners. Kang Dong-won is known for his hobby of making furniture.

Kang Dong-won also shared behind-the-scenes stories from his upcoming film 'The Plot'. He recalled, "This film was shot in temperatures as low as minus ten degrees. There were particularly many scenes with rain and at night."

He continued, "Our movie features many slow-motion scenes in the rain," and added, "Jeong Eun-chae, who stars alongside me, also got quite wet in the rain, almost as much as I did."

Additionally, Kang Dong-won named the movie "Detective" as a turning point in his life. He explained, "The biggest turning point for me was the film 'Detective.' I became most famous for 'Romance Of Their Own,' but the film that was a real turning point for me internally was 'Detective.'" He further expressed his gratitude towards Director Lee Myung-se of "Detective," saying, "Director Lee is like a father to me in the film industry. Meeting him taught me the joy of making films. It was a project that allowed me to grow a lot. He is an incredible visualist."

Meanwhile, Kang Dong-won's upcoming film "The Plot" is set to release on May 29. The movie follows a plotter who expertly stages contract killings as accidents but becomes entangled in an unexpected incident.
