The latest buzz in the Korean entertainment industry is Min Hee Jin's alleged derogatory Kakatalk messages about NewJeans and their fans.
On May 17, the industry was shocked when YouTube reporter Lee Jin Ho revealed alleged Kakao messages between ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and her co-CEO L from January this year.
Lee Jin Ho claims that Min Hee Jin's image as a protective figure for NewJeans and her outspoken stance against the practices of "old men" during a past press conference is merely a façade.
Many were shocked to see the messages as Min Hee Jin alleged made remarks such as "Fat elementary schoolers who can't lose a single pound and get scolded to death," "Watching brainless kids going crazy calling themselves fans." and "Wow, XX is so fat and ugly."
While Korean netizens were surprised and shocked by Min Hee Jin's alleged derogatory remarks about NewJeans, many speculated that it was a media stunt orchestrated by HYBE. Critics argued that HYBE showed a lack of concern for protecting the young members of NewJeans by making this conversation public.

It seemed obvious from the start that MHJ is simply selling that “close mother-daughter relationship” to the media so people will feel like she is doing all of this in the best interest of the girls. She wants the girls and their parents to fight her battles by defending her and pleading HER case when in reality all she wants is to have full control of New Jeans and their notoriety and fame/success. She sees them as cash cows and I hope this gets confirmed as true so the girls can come to their senses that this hag simply wants their revenue and she wants their success to be tied to her solely. She doesn’t care if she has to bring them down with her and these messages show that she doesnt even respect them and its all a show to make her appear pitiful and special to New Jeans
