Actor Jo In Sung successfully completed a fan meeting in Japan, proving his global popularity.

On the 10th, Jo In Sung held a fan meeting titled ‘2024 Joyful Day with Jo In Sung’ at the Shinagawa Intercity Hall in Japan, where he spent a delightful time with his Japanese fans. 

The fan meeting tickets were sold out immediately upon release, underlining his solid popularity. It was particularly meaningful as this was his first fan event in Japan since a fan club 10th-anniversary dinner party in July 2018, and his sincere affection for fans was evident throughout the event.

The fan meeting was filled with the concept of Jo In Sung 's Joyful Day. He made a special entrance, greeting fans in Japanese he had prepared himself, marking the start of a special and sweet date. The first part of the event, a 'gallery date,' showcased photos from Zo In-sung's daily life, where he communicated about his recent activities, which fans were curious about.

During the 'theater date,' which featured a survey on his films 'Mogadishu', 'Smuggling', and the Disney Plus original 'Moving', the character 'Dusik' from 'Moving' was chosen as the favorite by Japanese fans.

He also shared behind-the-scenes stories and episodes from each work, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. He also revealed behind-the-scenes details of 'Smuggling', which is set to be released in Japan this summer, making it even more interesting to watch.

The next part of the date was themed around 'Unexpected Business', a restaurant concept. Jo In Sung shyly reacted when a scene from season 1 of 'Unexpected Business', where he tears up making crab ramen and goes outside to cry alone, was chosen as the moment that touched fans the most. 

He shared various cooking tips and secrets behind his popular dishes from 'Unexpected Business'.

The fan meeting was made even more special by the surprise appearance of actor Im Ju-hwan, which even Jo In Sung did not expect. Im Ju-hwan explained that he wanted to give a surprise back to Jo In Sung, who had previously shown up unexpectedly to support him and other younger actors like Kim Woo-bin.

Additionally, the atmosphere was heightened with various 'game dates' with fans, and Jo In Sung personally went down to the stage to answer fans' questions, receiving enthusiastic cheers.
