On May 6th, Jennie attended the 2024 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This annual fashion charity gala, which began in 1948, occurs on the first Monday of May and draws celebrities from around the world.
This year's Met Gala, themed "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," featured many celebrities, including Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, Steven Yeun, and Stray Kids, all of whom made headlines with their appearances. Jennie, invited for the second consecutive year, showcased her fashion prowess. The dress code for the event was "The Garden of Time," and Jennie wore a blue cut-out dress that emphasized her slender figure, enhanced by a pearl chain belt at the waist, reminiscent of a Disney princess from 'Aladdin.'
Jennie's choice for the after-party was equally bold but less revealing. She captivated everyone with a unique style in a halter neck black punched dress, layered with a fur jacket, evoking the elegance of a queen of the night. With her daring and continuous fashion statements, Jennie indeed made a splash at the Met Gala in the US.
Meanwhile, Jennie is preparing for a solo comeback while setting up her own agency, Odd Atelier. She recently collaborated with Zico on his new song "SPOT!"

That saturated blue just doesn't flatter her, and the design is too basic for something like the met gala. There are stage outfits she has worn in the past that would have made for a better met gala look. Maybe something more like this but as an actual dress with a long train would have looked beautiful.
