In a remarkable achievement, Byeon Woo-seok has topped the buzz rankings for both drama and non-drama categories in the fourth week of May TV-OTT performer rankings by Good Data Corporation.
This unprecedented result marks the first time in the past decade of the corporation's buzz surveys that an individual has simultaneously ranked first in both categories.
Byeon Woo-seok earned a buzz score of 29,672 points for his role in the drama "Lovely Runner" securing the top spot in the drama performers category. Additionally, his appearance on the variety show "You Quiz on the Block" scored 4,799 points, also placing him at the top of the non-drama performers category.
Furthermore, both "Lovely Runner" and "You Quiz on the Block," the programs featuring Byeon Woo-seok, have also ranked first in their respective drama and non-drama categories. This dual ranking achievement is another unprecedented record in the history of Good Data Corporation's research.

His acting in "Lovely Runner" is superb. That Kdrama started off with a script that seemed forced, as if the writer(s) were trying to decide what type of Kdrama it really was going to be. That was mostly apparent in Kim Hye Yoon's acting before she hit her stride. I'm not blaming KHY... sometimes the director wants an actor to portray a role in a certain way. The show just got better and better with each episode.
"Lovely Runner" is the first time I've seriously watched Byeon Woo-seok in a main role, along with Kim Hye Yoon. Color me impressed. They make it work and by later episodes, they are simply wow. Their chemistry on-screen just gets better and better.
