Actor Go Min Si donated in celebration of Korea's Children's Day.
According to her agency Mystic Story, Go Min Si donated 50 million won (42,500 US dollars) to Seoul Asan Hospital, wishing for the happiness and healthy growth of children. Seoul Asan Hospital stated that the donation will be used to support medical expenses and surgery costs for children from vulnerable backgrounds.
Previously, in December, Go Min Si donated 10 million won to Seoul Asan Hospital for low-income patients. Additionally, she has been consistently engaged in charitable activities, providing donations to various places in need such as marginalized communities, children and adolescents, single-parent families, flood-affected neighbors, and the May 18th Memorial Foundation.

Korean celebrities are falling over themselves to make public donations not out of altruism, but rather the need to self-publicise and generate goodwill.
