ILLIT member Wonhee already lands a big CF deal just weeks after debut

Dong-A Otsuka announced on April 18 that they have chosen Wonhee, a member of the rookie idol group ILLIT, as the brand ambassador for their beverage Pocari Sweat in 2024.

Even before their debut, ILLIT garnered attention and was dubbed the 'youngest daughter of HYBE.' Their debut title track, "Magnetic," released on March 25, made headlines by becoming the fastest debut K-pop song to enter the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Teaser videos and TV commercials featuring Wonhee alongside Pocari Sweat will premiere next month.

Lee Jun Cheol, the brand manager for Pocari Sweat at Dong-A Otsuka, commented, “We chose Wonhee from ILLIT for her diverse charms, aiming to capture the pure and clear blue essence that is unique to Pocari Sweat. As the 29th model for Pocari Sweat, we look forward to conveying a brand message that supports the vibrant youth of today, each with their own shade of 'blue'.”
