Ahreum, a former member of the popular group T-ara, has made a comeback to the spotlight by launching her own channel on Afreeca TV, where she addressed various recent controversies surrounding her.
On April 5 KST, Ahreum took to Afreeca TV to discuss the recent issues that have been circulating. She disclosed her ongoing efforts to regain custody of her children after filing a complaint against a malicious commenter. Ahreum revealed that her children are currently being housed in a protection facility managed by the Seocho-gu Office.
Explaining the circumstances, Ahreum stated, "Due to my complaint against my ex-husband for child abuse, authorities have intervened to ensure the safety of the children. Despite my efforts, I can only receive occasional photos of them."
Regarding allegations of fraud related to borrowing money from a fan, Ahreum clarified, "It's not accurate to say that I borrowed money. Many people extended their support to me during a difficult time."
Addressing her current relationship status, Ahreum shared surprising news, saying, "Yes, I am in a relationship, and in addition, I am currently expecting a child."
In response to allegations of illegal gambling, Ahreum vehemently denied any involvement, stating, "I am completely unfamiliar with activities like that. I wouldn't engage in such behavior even if I knew what it was."
Ahreum, who tied the knot with a businessman in 2019 and shares two sons, revealed her divorce in December last year, citing instances of violence and child abuse from her ex-husband. She dismissed accusations of soliciting money from fans as false, attributing them to hacking of her social media accounts. She pledged to take legal action against those spreading false rumors and making malicious comments.
