After sharing an Instagram story about retiring, on April 10, BoA deleted all her posts on Instagram.

BoA had been actively communicating on her social media with fans and promoting her album through her account. 

However, a few days ago, BoA shared a message on her Instagram story that sparked rumors about her retirement. On this day, BoA shared, "I guess it's okay to 'finish a workout' after my contract ends," and then clarified that "finish a workout" was a typo for "retirement."

With growing concerns from her fans, BoA reassured them that she would not be retiring since her contract with SM will not expire until 2025. She wrote, "My contract doesn't end till December 31, 2025," and added, "Until then, I will happily give my all as singer BoA. Don't worry, my dear Jumping BoAs (BoA's fandom)."

Meanwhile, BoA celebrates the 24th anniversary of her debut this year. She has been known as one of the pioneers of the Hallyu wave, being one of the 1st generation idols. However, she has been recently suffering from unreasonable, malicious comments and clapping back through her social media account.
