Virtual boy group PLAVE has achieved a career-high record.
According to the Hanteo Chart as of March 5, PLAVE recorded initial sales of 569,289 copies for their second mini-album, 'ASTERUM: 134-1'.
They surpassed the pre-order quantity of 500,000 copies even before the official release. This achievement exceeds their debut album (27,000 copies) and their first mini-album (203,000 copies), marking a career-high record.
Additionally, PLAVE ranked 17th in the highest record for initial group sales by male groups according to Hantaeo Chart. They also topped the Circle Chart for 9 consecutive weeks in the weekly album sales and secured the top spot for the weekly sales on Ktown4u for 2 consecutive weeks.
PLAVE is a virtual group consisting of five members, debuting last year in March. They differentiate themselves from other groups in that the members produce their own music, write their own lyrics, create their own choreography, and more.
Despite being virtual idols, PLAVE continues interacting with fans through various platforms. They will hold their first fan concert, 'Hello, Asterum!' at the Seoul Olympic Hall on the 13th and 14th of next month.
The end of the world is coming.
