Kim Ji Won's sacrifice for acting: A year without her favorite comfort foods

Actor Kim Ji-won revealed she hasn't eaten Chinese food for a year.

On March 19th, Channel TEO uploaded a video titled "First Meetings Are So Hard! Introverts Whose Plans Don't Go As Expected | EP.32 Kim Soo-hyun, Kim Ji-won, Park Sung-hoon | Salon Drip 2."

In the video, Kim Ji-won shared, "There were health reasons, but also because this role required me to wear various outfits and show different external appearances, so I managed my diet strictly for about a year."

She continued, "I followed a diet plan. I avoided heavy foods and think I haven't eaten Chinese food for about a year."

Kim Ji-won also mentioned, "I didn't even eat black bean noodles," expressing her anticipation, "I promised myself I would eat it after finishing the filming, so I bought some Sichuan black bean noodles two months ago, but then I got lined up with promotional schedules."

Adding, "I still need to use my face," she said, "So I'm waiting to eat it after everything is over."

Comedian Jang Do-yeon reacted by saying, "That's such a tough job," expressing surprise at the dedication required for maintaining one's appearance in the entertainment industry.
