IU delivered an unforgettable performance to her Japanese fans on the 23rd and 24th at the Yokohama Arena with the ‘2024 IU H. E. R. WORLD TOUR CONCERT IN YOKOHAMA’. 

This concert followed her solo concert in Seoul, which kicked off her world tour, and was met with fierce competition for tickets, selling out early in the booking process. 

Thanks to the enthusiastic support, additional seats with restricted views were also sold out, showcasing IU's stature locally.

IU began the concert with 'Hold My Hand', and throughout the performance, she conveyed her sincere heart to the fans filled in the venue, using Japanese from time to time. 

She sang her hit songs such as 'Ah Puh', 'Bbibbi', 'Celebrity', 'Blueming', 'Eight', 'Hold My Hand', 'Friday', 'Shopper', 'Through the Night', 'You and I', 'Shh..', 'Twenty-Three', showcasing her diverse charm. 

The audience, captivated by IU's trustworthy live performance and stage presence, responded with enthusiastic cheers and applause, waving their official light sticks. Many fans sang along to IU's Korean songs, adding warmth to the venue.During the encore, IU performed newly interpreted versions of 'Lilac' and 'Palette', along with 'Give You My Heart', 'End of the Day', 'Someday', 'Epilogue', and different songs on each day, moving the audience. 

Additionally, she performed 'Beautiful Dancer', a track from her 2013 Japanese mini-album, which fans had been eagerly waiting to see, bringing the atmosphere of the concert to its peak on the first day of the encore.

A video of IU visiting the location of an outdoor billboard advertisement prepared by local fans, which appeared as part of the concert VCR, surprised everyone.

IU expressed her gratitude, saying, "I already miss the sound of your applause and your 'Eh?' noises. I spent a weekend that was even better than a dream with such unbearably adorable audiences. Thank you very much. I'll be back soon. Love you!”

Following her successful concert in Yokohama, IU will continue to bring her enthusiasm to Taipei, the next city on her tour.
