Park Tae Hwan, who brought pride to the nation by clinching Korea's first swimming gold medal in the 400m freestyle event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, solidified his status as a swimming legend with numerous achievements. Notably, he secured gold in the 400m freestyle and silver in the 200m freestyle at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, followed by silver medals in the same events at the 2012 London Olympics.
