Disney+ Korea hosted the '2024 Disney+ Content Lineup Media Day' in Seoul on March 12 KST, unveiling its global content lineup, including Korean original series, and detailing future content directions and strategies.
One of Disney+'s flagship original entertainment shows, 'The Zone: Survival Mission', is set to make a comeback with Season 3 in the latter half of this year. Alongside existing members Yoo Jae Suk and Yuri, newcomers Kim Dong Hyun and Dex will join the team, crafting ingenious missions that blur the lines between reality and fiction.
During the event, Yoo Jae Suk, Yuri, Dex, and Kim Dong Hyun shared their expectations for Season 3 through a video presentation.
Kim Dong Hyun expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I used to watch seasons 1 and 2 as a viewer, feeling both scared and intrigued. However, I confidently accepted the challenge for Season 3, believing I could survive for about four hours. But the reality of the missions proved to be more challenging. I'm determined to show how I'll tackle it differently."
Dex also chimed in, saying, "Being part of 'The Zone' series is an honor. The missions this season are even more unimaginable than before. While I was confident, enduring them wasn't easy, leading to some conflicts. But this time, we'll showcase the full energy of the youngest member, Yuri, who struggled to keep up with the older brothers in previous seasons."
Kim Bong will go some way to help with the loss of LKS and his humour, the usual fall guy in comedy
Dex as always is there to act as the annoying Captain America and be the ace, so Yuri don’t have to do the heavy-lifting
It might just work
