TWS has been gaining attention as one of the rising rookie boy groups as they recently broke IU's PAK streak for her hit track "Love Wins All' by placing #1 on one of Korea's popular music streaming platforms, Bugs Music. Now, the boy group reached their personal best as they reached #2 on Melon's TOP 100.
Melon Music being South Korea's largest music streaming service, is often used as a gauge to measure the success of a song. Achieving a high ranking on the Melon TOP 100 is an impressive achievement, especially for a rookie group.
TWS was able to rank at #2 with their debut track, "Plot Twist"; however, some are claiming that the group is using sajaegi methods.
Despite the accusations, fans are hoping TWS to reach #1 and commented, "Let's aim for number 1," "#2 on the the TOP 100 ????" "Congrats!" "Let's go to #1" "I'm really looking forward to them reaching number 1," "Wow this is impressive," "I think they're going to reach #1 today," and "Congrats!"
I like where boygroup songs direction is going tbh..
TWS, Riize, BoyNextDoor have this fresh and easy listening, but not boring songs that I like listening to!
.
I feel like I was unable to like early 4th gen boygroup songs bc most of them are so experimental. Curious if this trend will stay for long or not though.....
