Boy group MIRAE has officially made their debut in Japan with their first mini-album 'RUNNING UP' on February 14, garnering significant popularity in the region.
Kicking off their debut with the 'MIRAE 1st CONCERT TOUR [RUNNING UP] in JAPAN 2024' across six cities in Japan, MIRAE has successfully conducted performances in Sapporo, Osaka, and Nagoya. The group heated up the venues with performances of tracks from their mini-album, individual, and unit stages, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans. Notably, the energy continued with additional performances due to persistent cheers from the audience even after the encore in Nagoya.
The mini-album 'RUNNING UP' also achieved remarkable success on the charts, entering the Oricon Daily Album Ranking at 6th place immediately after its release. As part of their debut promotions, MIRAE appeared on HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting program and held a fan signing and high-touch event at Tower Records Shibuya, Japan's largest record store, on the day of their debut, meeting with local fans through various promotions.
'RUNNING UP' includes the title track of the same name, as well as Japanese versions of MIRAE's representative songs 'Marvelous -Japanese ver.-', 'JUMP! -Japanese ver.-', 'KILLA -Japanese ver.-', and 'Dear My Friend -Japanese ver.-'. The title track 'RUNNING UP', MIRAE’s first original song, discusses the prevalent anxiety about the 'future'. Delivering a message of excitement and consolation with the unique sentiment only youth can convey, MIRAE lays a successful foundation for their debut in Japan and is set to continue their global rise.
MIRAE is scheduled to continue their tour in Fukuoka on March 3, Sendai on March 10, and Tokyo on March 14.
