tvN's "Jung-nyeon," hailed as this year's most awaited drama, has been confirmed for an October schedule. According to broadcast sources on the 28th, the drama is slated to premiere on tvN in October.
A tvN official commented, "As of now, 'Jung-nyeon' is most likely set for October. However, due to the possibility of schedule changes and the significant amount of time remaining, it's challenging to say it's definitive."
Based on a webtoon of the same name, the drama unfolds in the post-Korean War 1950s, chronicling the entry and growth of Jung-nyeon (played by Kim Tae-ri), a girl with a natural talent for singing, into a female traditional music troupe.
Anticipation is high for Kim Tae-ri's new project, following her SBS Drama Awards win for "Evil Spirit" (2023), and the inclusion of acclaimed actors such as Ra Mi-ran, Moon So-ri, Jung Eun-chae, Shin Ye-eun, Kim Yoon-hye, and Jung Rael.
Filming for "Jung-nyeon" is currently underway.
NOOOO October is so far away dammit
