Renowned actor Gong Yoo is currently grieving the loss of his father, as reported by news outlets  on February 7 KST. Gong Yoo's father passed away on February 5 KST at the age of 78.

The funeral service is being held at the funeral hall of Asan Hospital in Seoul, where Gong Yoo is receiving mourners and bidding farewell to his beloved father amidst his sorrow.

The funeral procession for the deceased is scheduled for February 8 at 5:20 AM KST, with the burial taking place at the Sian Family Memorial Park.

Gong Yoo made his debut in the 2001 KBS drama 'School 4' and has since left a significant mark in the entertainment industry, starring in popular dramas such as 'Hello My Teacher', 'Coffee Prince', 'Big', and 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God'. He has also graced the silver screen with memorable performances in movies like 'Train to Busan', 'Seo Bok', and 'Kim Ji Young, Born 1982'.
