TWS will release their debut mini album, 'Sparkling Blue', at 6 PM on the 22nd.

TWS is a boy group introduced by Pledis Entertainment, nine years after Seventeen, and the first debut act of 2024 confidently presented by HYBE Labels. The group is composed of six elite members known for their solid performance skills, visuals, and exceptional musical sense.

The group name TWS stands for ‘TWENTY FOUR SEVEN WITH US’, where the numbers 24 and 7 represent 'all moments', meaning 'Always with TWS'.

They aim to become precious friends who make the ordinary lives of the public and fans special at all times and places through their music.

TWS introduces a unique genre called Boyhood Pop, an expansion of their clear and refreshing team identity. Boyhood Pop refers to fantastic and sensual music that evokes beautiful sentiments in everyday life.

Their debut album 'Sparkling Blue' is filled with sparkling and refreshing melodies, following the sentiment of Boyhood Pop. The natural and honest musical style of TWS, like conversations with friends during breaks, is impressive.

'Sparkling Blue' includes a total of five tracks, including the title track ‘First Meetings Don’t Go as Planned’, ‘unplugged boy’, ‘first hooky’, ‘BFF’, and ‘Oh Mymy: 7s’ which was pre-released on the 2nd.

The title track ‘First Meetings Don’t Go as Planned’ is about overcoming the vague uncertainty experienced in the excitement of first meetings with the anticipation of shining days to come together. The song, a hybrid pop genre with intense drums, thrilling guitars, and synth sounds, delivers its message powerfully through the contrast between the lyrics and sound sources.

The music video, created with a school drama concept, maximizes the fresh and youthful sentiment of TWS. It captures the vibrant moments of boyhood against the backdrop of a school, symbolizing the space of youth, filled with friends, dust on the white playground, sunlit classrooms, square desks, and green chalkboards.

TWS's debut album production was overseen by Han Sung Soo, who has produced albums for Seventeen, After School, Orange Caramel, NU'EST, and IZ*ONE. A special figure, Cheon Kye Young, a popular comic artist from the 1990s, also participated in the album. The second track ‘unplugged boy’ shares its name with one of Cheon Kye Young’s popular works.

In connection with this, Cheon Kye Young provided original illustrations for the 'Sparkling Blue' Weverse album cover from the comic 'Unplugged Boy'. This collaboration with a K-pop group is her first since H.O.T., 25 years ago.

Even before their debut, TWS proved to be 'the most anticipated group of the year' through collaborations with big brands, adorning the covers of famous international magazines, and being selected as beverage models. They collaborated with fashion brand The Museum Visitor and opened the pop-up store 'TWS: THE MUSEUM VISITOR' at The Hyundai Seoul on the 18th, known as the 'MZ Generation pop-up Mecca'.

They will also feature on the covers of Japan's renowned magazines ‘Ray’ and ‘ViVi’. These magazines are highly recognized in Japan, and their special edition covers are usually adorned by popular stars.

In the March and April issues of ‘ViVi’, TWS will be featured. The March issue teases a scene from TWS's photoshoot. In the April issue, they will adorn a special edition cover, cover story, and special supplement. It's the first time a K-pop boy group has become the main feature of this magazine immediately upon debut.

Furthermore, TWS has been selected as the model for a popular carbonated beverage, demonstrating their solid brand position. They will represent Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s Milkis, including its original product and entire line. It’s rare for a K-pop group to become a brand model before debut, indicating the intense industry interest in TWS.
