On the 23rd, actress Kim Seo Hyung appeared on Jang Do Yeon's YouTube channel 'Salon Drip 2,' where she showcased her wit and charm.
Kim Seo Hyung, who debuted in 1996 as part of the 16th class of KBS and celebrated her 30th debut anniversary last year, said, "It always feels like I just debuted because every project is different."
When Jang Do Yeon asked about her health, Kim Seo Hyung admitted she had experienced burnout while resting. "I think I did too much work. I prefer to focus on one project at a time with maximum effort and sincerity. But doing projects back to back, it felt like I was being drained of energy, as if my energy was being sucked away."
Jang Do Yeon's comment, "Isn't it like living different lives for each work?" prompted Kim Seo Hyung to respond, "You can live as a character, but there's only one body and thoughts get exhausted. I neglected myself because of my ambition. Recently, I found it scary thinking, 'Why am I like this? Am I sick?'" Fortunately, she feels better now, saying, "I'm okay, it seems like my resilience has grown."
Jang Do Yeon added, "Everyone can fall when they don't realize they're depressed or powerless. It's important to have good resilience." Kim Seo Hyung shared that she maintained her exercise routine even when it was hard, keeping up with her 20-year practice of Pilates. "I exercise four times a week and consistently go for walks," she said.
Responding to Jang Do Yeon's relief that Kim Seo Hyung was taking care of herself in a healthy way, Kim asked about Jang's health. Jang Do Yeon shared, "I'm quite blunt. I thought I should choose what I can do well. I believed there's a reason for the jobs coming in, so I took them all on. But then my body started feeling tired."
Jang Do Yeon concluded, "Now, I can find what I want to do, gradually moving towards things that stress me less." Kim Seo Hyung echoed this sentiment, mentioning that her pet dog also gave her more courage to live.
