In a recent music review conducted by KBS, (G)I-DLE's upcoming song "Wife" was declared "unfit for broadcast" due to its explicit lyrics. The track, which features member Soyeon's involvement in writing, composing, and arranging, immediately stirred controversy upon its release on January 22 KST for its provocative themes, given the song's title.
Additionally, another upcoming song, "Rollie", set to debut on January 29 KST, faced disqualification because it included references to specific product brands. Both songs are part of the group's second full-length album, 'Two,' scheduled for release on January 29. Adapting the lyrics seems inevitable if (G)I-DLE intends to promote these songs on KBS.
(G)I-DLE is gearing up for their album release on January 29, preparing for an active promotional period. As of now, the agency has not issued a statement in response to KBS's decision.
The lyrics are much more provocative in Korean. Like "기분 좋으니까 깊숙이 더 삼버릴거야". which means "Because it feels good I'm going to swallow it more deeper." And talks about "cooking cream soup" which means exciting a man to where he ejaculates. Then they sing "배웠으니까 올라타봐 "since you've learned, now get on top and ride".
