Recently, K-pop fans were given a surprise when HyunA and former Highlight member Yong Junhyung announced through social media that they're dating.

On January 18, HyunA posted a photo with the emoji "👩‍❤️‍👨," letting everyone know she was in a relationship and tagging Yong Junhyung. Junhyung shared the same photo on his Instagram on the same day. The picture showed them holding hands and walking on the beach together.

Korean netizens and K-pop fans were surprised and reacted on a popular online community. They were surprised because Junhyung faced a past controversy. Back on March 11, 2019, Junhyung was implicated in a scandal involving a group chatroom where Jung Joon Young shared illicit hidden camera footage and explicit images (molka). It was later clarified that Junhyung wasn't a part of the group chat and his interactions with Jung were limited to a separate one-on-one chat. Despite not being part of the group chatroom in question, Junhyung admitted to receiving and viewing an illegal video from Jung. As a result, on March 14, he announced his departure from the group Highlight. This incident is connected to the infamous 'Burning Sun' scandal.
