On December 5 KST, It was announced that EL7Z UP is planning to drop a new album and make their comeback early next year. While full-fledged comeback preparations are yet to commence, the timing for their re-launch has been set.
EL7Z UP was originally formed through Mnet's female idol competition program 'Queendom Puzzle,' which concluded in August. After an intense competition and viewer voting, the group's members were selected, including Hwiseo (H1-KEY), Nana (Woo!ah!), Yuki (PURPLE K!SS), Kei (formerly Lovelyz), Yeoreum (Cosmic Girls), Yeonhee (Rocket Punch), and Yeeun (formerly CLC). The name EL7Z UP signifies "the best seven members who solved the puzzle for you."
In September, just a month after the conclusion of 'Queendom Puzzle,' EL7Z UP made waves in the music industry by releasing their debut mini-album '7+UP,' with the title track 'CHEEKY.' Following their album promotions, they continued to make their mark globally by performing at 'KCON Saudi Arabia 2023' and successfully holding a solo fan concert in Japan. Most recently, they graced the stage at the '2023 MAMA Awards' and heated up the iconic Tokyo Dome, the pinnacle of Japanese performance venues.
In contrast to project groups from other Mnet idol survival programs, EL7Z UP commenced their activities without specifying the team's duration, leaving fans curious about their future endeavors. Now, the news of their scheduled comeback early next year has garnered significant attention.
Already screwed up the Purple Kiss tour after saying they wouldn't interfere with the members real groups schedules.
