OMEGA X takes legal action to protect their rights amidst false accusations

AKP STAFF

On December 20 KST, IPQ, OMEGA X's agency, released an official statement regarding their ongoing legal actions against a YouTube channel. IPQ provided updates on the status of their legal measures and emphasized their commitment to defending their artists.

The agency shared, "We are informing you of the current status of legal action against the channel." They revealed that they had applied for a temporary injunction to delete and prohibit the posting of videos on the channel. The court has ruled in favor of OMEGA X, stating that many videos on the channel contained untrue statements, violating OMEGA X's moral rights and causing harm that cannot be tolerated.

Furthermore, the court issued a decision ordering the removal of the content in question and imposing penalties for each day the content remains unremoved. IPQ stressed the significance of this ruling, stating, "This is a significant development because it confirms that the allegations of tampering with the video on the channel, which were raised by Injiwoong and formed the basis of the tampering claims, were found to be false."

IPQ condemned the actions of individuals who, after winning a lawsuit in January of this year to suspend the exclusive contract with Spire Entertainment, accused OMEGA X of tampering to nullify their contract with IPQ. IPQ considered this an infringement on the artists' right to fame and a baseless attack.

In addition to pursuing legal actions to protect their artists, IPQ has filed a criminal complaint for defamation and obstruction of business due to the spread of false information. They plan to take further legal action to delete videos that pose a high risk of defamation, promising to vigorously safeguard OMEGA X's reputation.

OMEGA X previously revealed that they had faced continuous abuse, including verbal and physical assault, and had been forced to attend unwanted drinking parties. Last August, YouTuber Injiwoong had claimed tampering in the process of OMEGA X changing agencies. IPQ had refuted these allegations, asserting that they were unfounded, and initiated legal proceedings against Injiwoong In for his false accusations.

Am really so glad OMEGA X have a company like IPQ (formerly known as Picturesque) to support them. Like IPQ was just a web media company previously, who worked with two of the members for a mini web series. But when they knew the boys' group was having trouble along with finding an agency to sign all 11-members (while other agencies might of only signed a couple of them, or avoided them in general) IPQ decided to create a whole new department to support them. This is so very rarely heard of. So I hope all the best for all of them, OMEGA X and IPQ.

This group are unbelievably strong, after all they've been through, they're still battling on. Whoever that YouTuber is should have their channel deleted and fined enough that they have to get a day job to pay it. Then he'll be too busy getting himself out of trouble to bother defaming anyone else.

.

Go OmegaX! After the nightmare of the last couple of years and more, they really deserve to make it big, I wish them all the success in the world.
