Actor Jung Hae In is set to make a romantic comedy comeback in the upcoming year.
On December 13 KST, FNC Entertainment announced, "Jung Hae In has been cast in tvN's new drama 'Mom's Friend's Son'."
'Mom's Friend's Son' is a romantic comedy that revolves around a woman's quest to restart her imperfect life, entwined with the life of her mother's friend's son, who represents her darker side. This drama marks the collaboration of director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun, known for their successful work on tvN's 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha'.
In the series, Jung Hae In will portray Choi Seung Hyo, the son of Bae Seok Ryu's mother's friend. Choi Seung Hyo currently holds the position of CEO at Architectural Atelier and is a rising star in the Korean architectural sphere. Despite his impressive talents, good looks, and seemingly perfect personality, the one dark spot in his life is Bae Seok Ryu. These two characters have known each other since the age of four, initially brought together as bathhouse playmates by their mothers, who shared banana milk in the women's bathhouse.
‘Mom’s Friend’s Son’ is scheduled to commence filming next year, with a broadcast date set for the latter half of 2024.
