G-Dragon is officially parting ways with YG Entertainment.

On December 20, YG Entertainment finally announced G-Dragon's official leave from the label following speculation about his contract renewal. The separation also follows G-Dragon's recent drug abuse allegations, which police have cleared him of. In a statement on Big Bang's official website, YGE stated:

"This is YG Entertainment.

G-Dragon was one of our iconic artists since his debut with Big Bang in 2006. It was an honor to spend this past time with him.

We sincerely wish G-Dragon blessings for his new chapter. We ask for a lot of support and encouragement from his fans.

Thank you."

In related news, G-Dragon has been linked with the agency Galaxy Corporation. Stay tuned for updates!
