The Boyz member Juyeon caught the attention of fans with his latest fashion.
On November 7, Juyeon appeared at the Hyundai Department Store Mokdong brand in Yancheon-gu, Seoul, for the sportswear brand 'Moose Knuckles' photocall event. Gear in a glossy black jacket matched with black cargo pants from Moose Knuckles, Juyeon cut a dashing figure that significantly stirred the internet.
What especially got the netizens talking was how effortlessly good Juyeon looked, resurrecting the sportswear brand's image in Korea, which had been tarnished, being colloquially associated as an 'Iljin fashion' attire.
Iljin is a term used to refer to bullies in Korean schools. Iljins are infamous for making the school life of their innocent peers miserable by continually ostracizing and tormenting them. In South Korea, the Moose Knuckles brand has inadvertently garnered a contentious reputation due to its popularity among Iljins.
Juyeon is being lauded by Korean netizens for repositioning the brand in a more positive light. His stylish representation of Moose Knuckles dissociates the brand from its previous notoriety, successfully making it look cool and desirable.
Korean netizens commented, "Moose Knuckles probably was pissed over the years because this is what the brand image was supposed to be," "He's so crazy good-looking," "He gives off a very effortless vibe, like he was in comfortable clothing at home but just put on that jacket to go to the convenience store," "His face did all the work," "He kind of looks like an iljin dressed like that...Do something about his tanktop...what's with matching that jacket with the wifebeater tank top? "Wow," and "He's so sexy."
He really look good in it. The brand must be happy he helped to resurrect their brand image positively.
