Shin Min Ah, who played the protagonist Bang Jin Joo in the upcoming film "3 Days of Vacation," introduced the movie at a press event held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul.

She described the movie as "a beautiful and lovely film that honestly expresses the universal emotion of a mother-daughter love in a fantasy setting."

"3 Days of Vacation" tells the story of Jin Joo, who runs a Korean restaurant using her late mother Park Bok Ja's cooking recipes after her mother's departure to the afterlife.

Kim Hae Sook plays Park Bok Ja, who returns to earth for a vacation three years after her passing, while Shin Min Ah portrays Jin Joo, who lives in the countryside, missing her mother Bok Ja.

The intriguing element of the movie lies in the fact that Bok Ja can see and hear her daughter, but Jin Joo cannot see her mother. Min Ah mentioned, "Playing the invisible part (of Kim Hae Sook) was both challenging and enjoyable."

In this movie, Min Ah had scenes where she prepared various dishes as the setting involved running a Korean restaurant. She explained, "Rather than displaying elaborate cooking skills, I focused more on practicing knife skills and food preparation, typical of home-cooked meals."

Directed by Yook Sang Hyo, known for "My Special Brother" (2019), and with the screenplay by Yoo Young Ah, the writer of "Miracle in Cell No. 7" (2013) and "Kim Ji-young, Born 1982" (2019).

Director Yook mentioned, "When I read the script for the first time, I couldn't finish it in one go because I kept shedding tears. I even told my wife that I received a script that made me cry a lot, and my emotions were stirred."

Kim Hae Sook, acting alongside Shin Min Ah, said, "I have played various mothers in different roles, but this time, playing a mother who came down from heaven to meet her daughter for a vacation is something new." She revealed that she thought of her own mother in heaven as she portrayed her character.

Kang Ki Young appears as a guide leading Bok Ja from the afterlife to the living world, while Hwang Bo Ra portrays Jin Joo's longtime friend, Mi Jin.

Hwang Bo Ra expressed, "I cried throughout reading the script. Among love stories, I particularly love stories related to fate, and I always wanted to try such a story."
