According to the legal community on November 27, the Incheon Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit decided not to extend G-Dragon's ban on leaving the country. On the other hand, it is known that a request for an extension of Lee Sun Gyun's ban on leaving the country was recently made to the Ministry of Justice.

Among these, on November 27, a substantive warrant review was conducted on Mr. A, a current doctor who is suspected of providing drugs to Lee Sun Gyun and others. Mr. A was identified as a supplier of drugs by Mr. B, the manager of the entertainment establishment, but the application for an arrest warrant for Mr. A was ultimately rejected.

Previously, Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon both tested negative for drug use. In addition, when G-Dragon's ban on leaving the country was lifted and the arrest warrant application for Mr. A, who was suspected of being a supplier, was rejected, there are continued criticisms that the police may have been put in a desperate situation by carrying out an unreasonable investigation.

At a press conference held on November 27 KST, a high-ranking official from the National Police Agency said about the possibility of G-Dragon not being indicted, "I think all possibilities are open until a conclusion is reached. There are some additional details that need to be investigated,” he said.

He went on to say, "If it is clear that drug use is evident in various circumstances, it is not right to send the case to indictment because it is negative. The conclusion is yet to be seen." He added that there are also some cases where a detailed analysis result was negative, but the circumstances of drug use were clearly revealed and a guilty verdict was handed down.
