On November 21st, the 51st International Emmy Awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Midtown in New York.
This year, Park Eun Bin was nominated for her lead role in the ENA drama ‘Extraordinary Lawyer Woo Young-woo' in the Drama Series category. However, the award went to the German Netflix drama ‘Empress Elisabeth.’
‘Extraordinary Lawyer Woo Young-woo' portrays the journey of rookie lawyer Woo Young-woo (played by Park Eun Bin), who has both exceptional intellect and autism spectrum disorder. It aired from June to August last year, achieving a peak viewership of 17.5% (based on Nielsen Korea nationwide paid households standards).
Park Eun Bin represented the show at the awards ceremony.
Similarly, the JTBC drama ‘Chaebol House Youngest Son,’ starring Song Joong Ki, was nominated in the TV Movie/Mini-Series category but lost to the Mexican drama ‘La Casa.’
‘Chaebol House Youngest Son,’ broadcast from November to December last year, narrates the fantasy tale of a secretary in a conglomerate family who is reborn as the family’s youngest son. It enjoyed immense popularity, with a highest viewership rating of 26.9%.
Additionally, Han Hyo Joo joined Park Eun Bin at the ceremony and drew attention as a presenter in the TV Movie/Mini-Series category.
