Kakao Entertainment's music platform, Melon, announced the full lineup for this year's 'MMA 2023 (Melon Music Awards 2023).'
For the past few weeks, the award show has been amplifying anticipation by unveiling the artist lineup for this year. On November 27, MMA revealed the final lineup list, and it includes popular idol groups such as SHINee, NCT Dream, BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, aespa, IVE, NewJeans, STAYC, and KISS OF LIFE.
Additionally, Lee Young Ji, Imase, and the band Silica Gel have joined the final lineup!
Meanwhile, MMA2023, sponsored by KakaoBank, is scheduled for December 2 at 5 PM at the Incheon Inspire Arena, South Korea’s first K-POP specialized venue. The event will be live-streamed on the Melon app/web and Wavve app/TV app in Korea. In Japan, it will be available on ABEMA, and for the rest of the world, live streaming will be provided through the Beyond LIVE platform.
With the final lineup being announced, expectations are heightening for the diverse showcase of performances at the premiere music show ceremony.
Netizens commented, "Heol Imase," "All the artists I like are on it," "The lineup is so crazy," "Oh wow Silica Gel?" "Oh NCT Dream is going to be one of them," "Wow 4 out of the 10 teams are from SM," "The lineup doesn't seem like it has a lot of artists but it's packed with good ones," Wow, Imase," "Even the additional lineup is good," and "Wow, Silica Gel!"
No ITZY, Twice, Blackpink, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE, Le Sserafim, NMIXX, Kep1er.... Yikes. And that's just girl groups. Award shows get worse every year.
