After wrapping up his successful solo performance on NBC's 'Today Show' on the morning of November 8 EST, BTS's Jungkook announced another "special event in NYC" in store for his fans the same evening.
Well, sleuthing fans have come up with some hints about what this "special event" might be.
According to Twitter users, a space has been cleared away in one of the massive billboard located in Times Square. The billboard also happens to be playing a 'Calvin Klein' ad featuring Jungkook on a loop.
It seems that this is the same location of the newly opened 'TSX Stage' in the heart of Times Square, a stage set up inside an 18,000 square foot billboard display. Just in July of this year, musician Post Malone became the first performing artist to take to the innovative new stage on one unforgettable afternoon (the performance happened around 5:30 PM, and security showed up to patrol the area well before that).
Now, many fans are wondering if the "special event in NYC" Jungkook warned them about will really be another traffic-stopping, groundbreaking surprise show like the one below.
Jungkook is a global worldwide pop star we will have to wait and see to see if it’s true.
