On the 27th, Youtuber and broadcaster Dex took a firm stand against malicious online comments.
Kick The Hurdle Studio, Dex's agency, detailed their legal action plans in a statement released on the 27th.
The agency declared, "We are committed to rigorously tackling the issues of slanderous defamation, the spread of misinformation, sexual harassment, personal attacks, and malicious comments aimed at our associated creator, Kim Jin Young (Dex), particularly those that abuse online anonymity."
They added, "Many individuals are suffering due to the derogatory remarks and dissemination of falsehoods about Kim Jin Young (Dex) and his associates. Our actions against these offenses will not be a one-off; we intend to persistently monitor the situation and pursue legal remedies should such malicious activities persist. Fan-provided information and reports will significantly aid our legal proceedings and responses. We encourage everyone to actively participate in reporting these incidents."
In closing, the agency affirmed, "Our commitment to safeguarding the rights of our creators remains steadfast. We seek your continued support and encouragement."

I wish there were laws allowing not only Koreans but people from other countries to file lawsuits. If that were the case, the number of individuals who could genuinely file lawsuits would be enormous.
