Korean singer Chuu, known as the "Human Vitamin," has admitted to facing a career slump.
On November 7th, during a web entertainment show, Chu mentioned a significant live performance controversy from her past that had affected her.
Chu explained, "It was my first time representing my group members on a variety show, and it turned into a 'live performance controversy.' I felt depressed and started avoiding people."
She added, "I stopped singing for a while and felt extremely nervous whenever I had to sing. I'm currently overcoming this slump."
One of the hosts, Moon Sang-hun, advised her to be kind to herself and strict with others, emphasizing self-compassion.
Chu recently released her first solo mini-album, "Howl," in October, featuring the title track of the same name. The song tells a story of healing and growth.
Chu expressed her confidence in the title track and her desire not to force happiness.
