The exclusive contract dispute between former LOONA member Chuu and her former agency, Blockberry Creative, has recently escalated to a legal battle involving Chuu's mother.
According to a media outlet, Chuu's mother sued Blockberry Creative's CEO back in January, claiming that the agency spread false information during Chuu's contract dispute at the time.
Chuu's mother claimed that Blockberry Creative falsely accused Chuu of improper behavior, such as leaving LOONA's music video filming site before the filming was finished, causing harm to the members. She also claimed that the agency spread false information about Chuu's family, stating that Chuu's family had sent messages to the other members, criticizing them for their attitudes. She stated that these claims were false and filed a complaint.
In October, the police decided not to prosecute this case. Blockberry Creative has filed a countersuit against Chuu's mother for false accusations in response.
On November 24, Blockberry Creative released a detailed statement on LOONA's official YouTube channel community.

"(Important Announcement) Decision Not to Prosecute BlockBerry Creative Representative for Defamation Charges
Dear Esteemed Fans,
We address you with an important update regarding recent allegations against our representative at BlockBerry Creative. As you might recall, a regrettable incident involving the misconduct of a member during the filming of a LOONA music video had previously put the group and the company in an adverse situation. We chose not to disclose the matter publicly, considering the morale of the members, until it was unveiled by media reporting.
Despite the incident being a matter of record, the concerned member's party wrongfully accused our representative of providing false information to journalists, leading to a defamation lawsuit.
We are relieved to report that the case has been dismissed without charges, allowing the truth to prevail.
The situation for the 11 members of LOONA is similar. There has been rampant speculation and reporting as if a simple injunction implies a complete termination of the contract, which is not the case. The trial at the first instance is yet to occur. During this process, which often sees 'post-injunction transfers' as a common strategy in illegal tampering, we will persistently strive to bring the truth to light against any unfair practices.
We are deeply remorseful for the disappointment our fans have faced amidst these challenges. However, we ask you to continue to watch over the sincerity and truth that has been the foundation of LOONA's inception and growth and to keep supporting LOONA with your unwavering interest.
With regards,
BlockBerryCreative
