The popular K-pop band BTOB revealed that they are currently under negotiations and discussions for their impending contract renewal. On November 1 KST, it was reported that there was a possible delay due to the inability to reach a consensus for the group's second contract renewal.
Responding to these reports, Cube Entertainment stated that discussions were still underway. They emphasized, "The contract renewal period for Cube Entertainment and some BTOB members has not yet concluded. We are committed to ensuring the best possible outcome up until the expiration date."
Furthermore, the representative from the agency commented on the ongoing discussions, stating, "The BTOB members are taking into account multiple perspectives to adequately address and resolve this situation."
In an earlier report, it was revealed that the BTOB members proposed '6 billion won' as a group contract deposit to potential agencies. Nevertheless, Cube Entertainment promptly responded, dismissing this assertion, stating, "The 6 billion won contract fee mentioned doesn't reflect our company's standpoint."
BTOB, which officially debuted in 2012, has remained united, continuously engaging in group activities since then. With their contract renewal discussions actively underway, fans eagerly anticipate more exciting projects and albums from the band.
I hope tbey stay together...away from Cube...
